Africa is on the brink of economic growth and it has been forecasted that for several years to come the bulk of the world’s population will be African. By 2050 2,2 Billion people could be added to the global population and more than half of that population growth will occur in Africa.
According to statistics, Africa is the youngest continent in the world. We have an abundance of youthful citizens but the big question is; what are the youth doing to prepare for this growth? This is a discussion which has been ongoing and we need to continuously find solutions to the problems in our communities to create employment and generate wealth for the continent at large.
Savannah Sessions speaks to the modern African. We are a voice of the African youth. We want to mark our territory in the global village and announce our presence. Savannah Sessions exists to re tell the African story as we claim our heritage as Africans. We seek to explore our identity and have a conversation about being African in the 21st century.
